Kimi
Räikkönen already sat behind the wheel of his Ferrari F2007
again today. The Finn started testing at the Autodromo Nazionale
di Monza in preparation for the forthcoming Italian Grand Prix, to
be held at this circuit on 9th September.
At
the first test day, Kimi concentrated mainly on defining the
set-up for the F2007 and on development of aerodynamic solutions
aimed specifically at this track. At this Kimi completed a total
of 60 laps and set in 1:24.258 minutes the second fastest time of
the day. Only Lewis Hamilton was faster than the Finn. The McLaren
Mercedes driver presented a lap time of 1:24.112 minutes.
Kimi
will continue the test work for the Ferrari team in Monza also
tomorrow.
