Kimi, the king of the daredevils

Kimi Räikkönen reaped much praise again from the European press after his victory in Spa-Francorchamps. Of course it were mainly the Italian gazettes, who effusively celebrated the fourth success of the Finn in this season.

The "La Gazetta dello sports" now still cherishes hopes for the drivers championship: "Räikkönen tries it once again. Now he can hope again. Kimi Räikkönen like Michael Schumacher - well, we will be careful. But after all he has won in Spa three times in a row. Pole and victory - a fantastic weekend."

For the "Tuttosport" the Finn has made a masterpiece: "Räikkönen celebrates his triumph in Belgium ahead of Massa. Räikkönen's masterpiece. If he wants he is invincible.

"The "Corriere dello Sport" notices: "Räikkönen has proved once again that he doesn't lack talent. With these pilots Ferrari can manage it to win the championship of scandals."

For the British newspapers Kimi remains in the battle for the championship. "Räikkönen wins, Hamilton drags himself on place four. The Finn holds his spark of hope on life," writes the "Times". Also the "Guardian" has Kimi on the bill furthermore: "Räikkönen remains in the title race after his victory in Belgium."

Also the French media givis respect to the Iceman: The "Libération" opened with the headline: "Räikkönen, king of the daredevils. The Ferraris are untouchable."

"Räikkönen believes in it until the end," writes the "Le Parisien". And the "L'Équipe says in conclusion: "Räikkönen has put down a perfect race and wins for the third time in Spa."
