Kimi finishes test with race simulation

Today marked the end of winter testing for Kimi Räikkönen and Ferrari in preparation for the start of the World Championship, which gets underway on Sunday 16th March in Melbourne.

Kimi had a race simulation on his agenda, which he completed despite several interruptions caused by red flags and one precautionary stop to carry out a check on the car at the start of the afternoon. By the end of the day, Kimi completed a total of 80 laps and set in 1:21.933 minutes the ninthfastest time. Toyota driver Jarno Trulli was the fastest man on track today with a lap time of 1:20.801 minutes. Kimi's team mate Felipe Massa achived the 13th place driving a time of 1:22.286 minutes.

The next time Kimi will be behind the wheel of his Ferrari F2008 will be on the 14th of March at the first Free Practice of the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
