Finland’s postal service is to celebrate the success of the country’s reigning Formula One world champion, Kimi Raikkonen, with a special sheet of stamps to be issued next month.

The stamps, released as part of a series to help mark the Finnish postal service’s 370th birthday, include images of Raikkonen on track for Ferrari and on the podium celebrating victory at this year’s Malaysian Grand Prix. The pictures are accompanied by the text ‘F1 World Champion ’07 Kimi Raikkonen’.

Raikkonen will be presented with his own special copy of the stamps on September 4 - a day before their official release - at Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps circuit, immediately ahead of that weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix.
