The
third free pratice of the Grand Prix of Monaco in Monte Carlo was
bipartite from the weather conditions today. While it was still
dry in the first half, the pilots had to use the rain tyres in the
final 30 minutes of the practice session.
Kimi
completed a total of 21 laps in the final practice session and set
at still dry track conditions in 1:17.177 minutes the third
fastest time. The two McLaren drivers Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis
Hamilton were placed ahead of him and beat Kimi by 0.610 or 0.093
seconds.
Kimi
also showed a good performance on the wet track. He achieved in
1:27.9 minutes the thirdfastest time behind Robert Kubica and
Fernando Alonso.
